Dr. James K.A. Smith: Events Feb. 21-22

Dr. James K.A. Smith is a philosopher and cultural thinker. He is the author of many books, including You Are What You Love, Who’s Afraid of Postmodernism?, The Fall of Interpretation, The Devil Reads Derrida, and others.

Dr. Smith (Calvin College) will join us for a series of events February 21-22, sponsored and organized by the Nickel City Forum.

Thursday, Feb. 21, 7:30 pm: “Augustine Our Contemporary: A Saint for A Secular Age.” Canisius College. Richard E. Winter ’42 Student Center, Grupp Fireside Lounge. See further info on the Canisius Conversations in Christ webpage. The event is free and open to the public.

Friday, Feb. 22, 7:00 pm: “You Are What You Love: Desires Are Your True Beliefs.” University at Buffalo, North Campus. Norton Hall, room 112. The event is free and open to the public.
