What if an argument was a path toward pursuing truth together?

What if an argument wasn't something we avoided, but a place where we met up, with questions and ideas, patience and creativity, experts and laypeople ... and maybe a Buffalo-brewed beverage in hand?

Our Story

The Nickel City Forum started with a group of friends who wanted to dig into some big ideas. From 2017 to 2020, we set up events at Buffalo brewpubs to discuss Beauty, Urban Farming, Race, Spirituality. Friends invited strangers, strangers became friends. We had a lot of disagreements. It was the first day, and it was good.

COVID hit, and we did book studies on Dostoevsky and more. We rested on the seventh day.

In 2025, Buffalo's premier drinks & discussion forum is coming back. We've got some ideas. How about you?
